Just my 2cent but gloss red with matte hot rod pin stripe would look good :
better yet how about gloss red then mask off your pinstripeing and paint tank flat red End up with a flat red tank with gloss red ghost striping if that makes any sense LOL

It does, and I think it would be rad. Buuut... I'm not doing shit to it until I know I have a running bike. Haha.

Did more stuff.
Need to get the wheels and accompanying doo-dads painted and I can put the bike together. Getting really close. Main hold up will be the carbs. Pretty sure they're all gummy inside. That said, it's supposed to rain here for the next five days and I havent gotten the bike played yet so theres time.

Piece by piece. You never realize how many little bits there are until you decide to paint them all. So... Hopefully tomorrow everything will be dry and I can finalize the rear wheel, and forks.I need to mount the taillight, strip and reinstall the front wheel, add the handlebar controls, and bolt everything down permanently. Shooting for next week to have the motor in and wires run. Fuck... It's actually coming together. Anyone want to come drunkbeers and remind me to tighten shit I forgot?

I'd love too, but sadly I ain;t got 300 in gas money LOL.... I will drink beers at home and Send positive vibes to yo unot to forget the improtant bolts, like fork pinch bolts, axle nuts, banjo's etc. ;D
