I am running the same size tires. Front fender works fine.

I utilized the stock fender brace and it fits with plenty of room. Tested with the fender prior and it fit just fine.

Stock 82' 440 rims. They were the same mag style from 80-83 I believe. Some of the 400's and 440's had 18's all around, but were pretty rare.

Hey MB

Are you still running the stock Petcock with the diaphragm?
If so do you have it connected to the carb at all?

Ya, still stock and the tube goes to the carb with a inline filter.

Got the brakes bled today. It can stop now, that's a plus.

Well, finally got some time to start working on it again. Digging into the wiring, I enjoy wiring but it's time consuming.....the one thing I do not have a lot of. So it comes and goes in phases.

Re: 82' KZ440 Brat'Cafe'?: Wiring, seat, final assembly, cables

I said I enjoy wiring but I lied

Hahaha. I agree with this statement.

Frustrating, mock up some wiring...oh it will work. Nope, doesn't work. Start over....

When my buddy and I wired mine it was so cold and we rushed it so some wires are on top of the frame some are under. It drives me nuts every time I look at it. I guess patience is really learned when wiring.

Seat is done, picking it up tomorrow. Finally this thing is going to be done.
