Yeah, that's the ticket... I wonder if it would make sense to simply destroy that swinger or one like and over cut the section off then mill it to fit the pocket you cut on the intended chunk.

Maybe a billet slab in the mill is in the works too

[EDIT]
If you were to fasten some round stock with concentric tapped holes as spacers to align the block then tighten as a weld clamp, weld it in then remove the fasteners and plug weld the holes might work and it will be supported all the way through: As you can see I would have to do it this way as I have no machines or the skills... yet 8)

lol! lunch money ;D I think I paid $45USD for the swingarm. But by the time I had it shipped, customs, duty and local tax's, currenct exchange blah blah blah this owes me about$450NZD, so dont really want to buy another one anytime soon. $450 would make for a nice lunch though ::)

and thats the left had side 'hacked out'

hey Tune-A-Fish, I have just seen a pair of these wheels turn up in NZ on the interweb, for a measly fee of $5500 NZD plus shipping!!!! I think these can stay in the box they ship in for those duckets

X2 digin the fresh milled metal, changing feed speeds to get different tool marks and leaving them for the anodizing process is cool also. the only thing that sucks is all the chips and curls filled with coolant to clean up :-\
