aluminum cafe racer seat pan build

Yeah thats a good point and i planned on doing that but now that its done I am not going backwards again. It's all polished and looks awesome and cant believe i was going to paint it now that i see this pan. It's not perfect but winter is long in WI so I will make it again come jan. I learned a lot and thats the fun of doing fabrication. PJ has the carbs for this bike and sounds like everything is going well so hope to have her out in a couple weeks. Will post pics tomorrow of the polish work. Thanks guys!

As soon as I find the leather or fabric to my liking i will finish the pan off.

After getting her running finally I went for a long ride today with no seat cushion. When I got home I made this for my sore ass. I bought the padding from menards which is environmentally friendly so now when I bag on it, it will equal out. I made an aluminum skid which fits on top of my pan and can be removed by a couple nuts easily from the back. More pics to come. Want to lay the vinyl on it tomorrow and hit the road again.
