Are those shocks the stock length? Stock length shocks, but I cut the frame just beyond where the two tubes intersect. A tube joins the two and holds the shock mounts. The mounts are a little bit higher this way and it kinda cleans up the triangle. Also, I didn't want it to look like I just cut the back end of the bike off. The shock mounts on your frame is a tad different. I think mine were lower on the rail.
I just started something similar last night. I'm going to try to build a girder fork for it. That will be wicked![quote
Makes me feel all warm inside! HaHa, Just kidding However, I probably won't run a fender this fall because I'm not going to replace the tires until this winter. Then I will decide on fender or no fender.ericngsta said:I like the fender. Excellent build so far.
Just think about your crotch being sandwiched between the frame and wheel.....*shudder*
You are welcome. Wish I came up with the fender trick, but I'm just passing it on. It's been done forever. Do you have a build thread? I'd be interested in watching this thing come to life.Rat400F said:Thanks for the info. I really like the front fender used as a rear idea, I might borrow that.

It's not the best work out there but I think it shows that even guys like me have a chance ;D
Thanks man, I think (frodo baggins)?? And are you saying no fender or just not that fender? I'm still leaning hard towards no fender.Useful Idiot said:Frodo Baggins kickstand!
I dig the mid controls. The fender not so much, but you know how the old saying goes.
