Best Bike Movie

Netflix has a companion disc to Stone that is very interesting as well. Viet-nam war era Diggers identified with the film a lot.

Torque in on BET at present, (10.00-12:00pm eastern) I had forgotten just how bad it really is ;D

I forgot about it but its within two years old and I own it. Its not your stereotypical motorcycle movie but its FUCKING GREAT!

Watched this today great flick

STONE was a classic for sure. Still available on ebay last time I checked. Quality isn't too hot, but that's to be expected i guess.

Never watched the entire movie, but Cool as Ice is a pretty amazing comedy. I'd watch it right now if it was on. If you ever see it on cable you gotta watch at least 15 minutes of it. Tons of fantastic one liners like "Drop that zero. Get wit' a hero."

Never seen it, and I'm assuming it doesn't have to do with bikes, but the image is too cool not to post. ;D

"When a girl has a heart of stone, there's only one way to melt it. Just add ice."

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

His pants don't make any sense. Just looking at them gives me a headache.

i'll never understand the thought process that allows a sport bike to jump a 5' tall fence without at least a mound of dirt in from. I love the correlation of bikes and horses in the Ice movie, it's romantic. There's gotta be a drinking game for that movie...like if you can make it through without drinking yourself into a stupor you've won at being a glutton.

On another note, I love Reggae and so I'm watching the Marley brothers ride across South Africa on netflix. I've only got about 15 minutes in and there isn't much riding going on.

On Any Sunday is the best motorcycle film ever made. Doubtful anything can top it.

Maybe 'Take it to the Limit'?
It's got Arlo Guthrie motorcycle song with claymation and 'we are wikkle warriors' ;D

Vanilla Ice still holds the record for shortest career of any pop music superstar.

Anyone see Rumble Fish with Mickey Rourke as " The Motorcycle Boy " ? Its for sure worth watching. Its shot in B/W and also stars a young Matt Dillon and Nick Cage..

I haven't seen Mad Max since I was a kid. Now I'm going to have to go watch it. I definitely would recommend World's Fastest Indian. The bonus material with Burt Munro is worth renting the movie, even if you hate it.

Not a movie, but the "Long Way" series with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman made me fall in love with motorcycles.

If you want to see some period correct bikes and hotrod/customs from the 60's (as well as Von Yinzer's Uncle, Eric Von Zipper). Check out the Frankie and Annette movies "Beach Blanket Bingo" and "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini". IIRC you see work from George Barris and Ed Roth.
Plus they are good flicks for drinking games. ;)

Not a bike movie, but the first 10mins of the new James Bond movie was pretty intense with some nice CRF250 action.
