Ha! I tried my pipes like that, pretty much vibrates your feet off the pegs. Soooo loud it's comedy, great job. if you still have the stock mufflers you can cut them in half an make megaphones!

Welded on an angled bracket with two holes drilled in it and mounted it with the motor mount...

I know this thread hasnt been active for a while but Im a 76 500T owner and I really like the build.. For the carbs.. what was your jetting like.. easier way to put it is what did you have to change from stock setting in the carbs to accamodate the velocity stacks and those open header pipes?
