You sold a 350 for $14,000? Please post a picture!jag767 said:was in it for 9ish, sold for 14k

Probably. I will be in this thing cheap by the time it's rideable. Tearing everything down and replacing all the consumables with new shit and prettying things up is where it gets $$$$ fast

You're so full of shit, dude. C'mon man. On one hand, you boast about getting Excel rims for $75 then, on the other hand, you're saying you put $2k into wheels alone. Ingenuity and the generations of craftsmanship on display in this thread are what's impressive, not the amount of money this guy spends.jag767 said:You're 100% spot on. I spend a shitload on just making everything new, including all the bolts. I have a crazy project in the works that when done will cost 13-15. Pay to play!

the white cb350 for example could have been built much better for far less than 9k but to each his own style i guess. if you can get 13k for a 5k bike more power to you but that says more about the salesman than anything
I'd say it says more about the buyer.DailyGrind said:if you can get 13k for a 5k bike more power to you but that says more about the salesman than anything
Should be working on mounting the radiator this afternoon. Then I have to do some figuring on the seat and gas tank being a bit more permanentRR100 said:I would certainly love to hear more about what BillyGoat is doing with his project. His fabrication skills are exceptional, and his ability to solve problems creatively and within the scope of the tools at his disposal really is helpful. Pleas continue!
