I wonder if the neck was raked correctly. Looks like a great deal for 200 though, especially if it comes with three racks of carbs.
I know right, even though he states it needs pistons I think I could part it out and double my money.

"I am not desperate to sell it either (I'd rather not)... I am motivated to sell."

Uh, okay.

I still think it's absolutely amazing that to get the kind of satisfaction that a bike like that CX would bring out of an automobile, one would have to spend potentially some serious dough.

It makes me happy to realize just how relatively affordable amazing custom bikes like this are in relation to how much joy they can bring compared to other things that could cost significantly more.

Tell me about it. I put my 70 Roadrunner on hold to build a couple of bikes, because I'll be $25 grand down by the time it's finished. Just a couple of thousand into these motorcycles and I'll be having a blast.

Same boat.
I got into bikes because my jeep was getting out of hand. I can build an entire bike for what a single jeep part costs. Hell I have 5 or 6 at the moment and they still don't add up to a nice coil over suspension.

The above is what I tell my fiancée at least. I'm not sure my persuasion is catching on quite yet...she's realizing it's more than a hobby now though :)
