Ha... You're fuckin high. There's some stuff I'd definitely change (the idiotic handlebars would be first) but overall that's a decent bike.

Correct. I many places in the country, primarily determined by what decade the housing boom happened in that area, laundry hook ups can often be found in the garage.

Same, man. I've been looking at them longingly on craigslist and my girlfriend thinks I'm retarded. She doesn't understand how much better the back seat would be than on the cb200

Yeah...I'm old school.

There is a lot to be said for barges. I have a second home 14 hours away, part of the trip is about 7 hours of straight line desert. I wouldn't do it on anything other than a barge. Being able to change into climate appropriate clothes in a snap, fighting heavy winds or just the shear comfort of not having to pull over every hundred miles to get the feeling back in your balls. Some of the gaudy disco barges are pretty harsh to look at, but when you're droning along for hours on end and still feel fresh enough to party when you arrive, it all starts to make sense....

Twist the "go-go" side and hold on!
I'm with ya (and I'm still a ways from 50 ;) )... I'm trying to get the money together for a more touring esk bike. Not sure I want a full on barge but something that can hold the wife comfortably and some luggage. I'm having a hard time with modern styling these days though so I'm trying to find the perfect combination of old-school styling with modern day reliability and low maintenance. Holy Grail I guess - any recommendations. Maybe a early 90's K75S?
