That looks like swan's cb400f. A good example isn't cheap.

$6k isn't actually crazy for a perfect stocker.
High, but the point is to keep the hipsters from calling him....
These will jump in price soon. Too good of a bike, and to many have been cut up.

^^^^^^^^, he's talking bollocks.....the australian market is, to say the least, resistant to customising anything with the possible exception of harleys. small jap bikes aren't now and never have been worth serious money (unless totally bog stock or restored )
customised bikes (again, especially small jap) have always been hard to shift and you can kiss goodbye to any money you've put into it

true, the hipster market might be up for this bike but they're also notoriously tight fisted

and for $6k you can buy an awful lot more bike than a GSX250, that'll get you a single cam CB750 or for that matter a Vmax or even early Hayabusa.......

My man. I knew it was far fetched but I enjoy the confirmation!

Hahahha, WHAT??!

I know it seems crazy, but Trail 70s actually go for good money where I live (Ohio). Average asking price seems to be $1500 for a good survivor, but I know someone who bought an exceptionally restored one for $2500 so that his kid could have the same bike he had when he was growing up.

Yea, I mean a perfect mint one with low miles I could see going for $2500 or a little more. Most in this condition (as best I can tell from the pics) don't go for more than $1500

My first bike, I bought one from my neighbor for $200 back in 1990 when I was 10 (I made good money feeding cows, moving irrigation pipe, and mucking stalls), between my brother and I we burned it down 4 times, but oh the memories.

I have had my eye out to build one of these one day for Pops.

That, I might buy for $3500. That's a handful.

I've had the urge to drop an old horizontal AMF 350 into a Honda S90 or CL90 frame. That'll be a project for after I accumulate more tools and welding equipment. And money.
