Hahaha. You're liking sitting there like a dumb ass just waiting for the images to finish loading and they never do. Goddamn.

HA, 15 years or so ago, my father-in-law bought a $9.95 digital camera from the GAS STATION. came in a blister pac hanging on a hook between Shoe laces and Tic-tacs. Even it took better pics than those!

Also, about the same time. my wife bought my daughter a Play-Skool digital camera when she was like 5yo. IT took better pics than those.

I cant imagine where on earth he found a worse camera.

Oh dear, Chauncey, I feel like I'm offering up your work like a wounded gazelle in a pit of lions, but that's what this is all about.

Some of the best things on this bike include .45 holes in the license plate holder, the pedigree of the electrical work (likely just a buddy, unless LM engineers are moonlighting for more $), the fact that the thing runs like shit ("Loud but perfect. Slight backfires while downshifting." -- that sounds pretty perfect), no fenders/fork brace and minimal clearance for the rear tire, and a minor boo-boo as the thing fell over and got dinged up. But 5 grand and it's yours!

A few of us here have a pal on DTT who was a Lockheed Martin engineer. He rode home in the dark one night after a get-together because his headlight didn't work. ::)

Not exactly a "glowing" endorsement. I have a friend who rides -- but doesn't do much wrenching -- who's an electrical engineer at a big medical parts place. Great to have around to talk about how stuff needs to work (theory) but helped another buddy rewire his handlebar controls, did it over grass, and lost a couple of the tinier pieces (not so good at practice...).

It's 2015. Why aren't you riding around on an electric suitcase yet?

As long as it's big enough for me to crawl into with the deep sense of humility and shame I'd feel for even contemplating owning that 'thing'.

No helmet, no armored protection. I guess Californians don't wear helmets, it messes up their hair.

One future option, post crash, it turns into a coffin.

Not from CL but I saw this on the Vintage Japanese facebook page. I have no idea how that cowl hasn't gotten ripped off yet. I've seen this done with a rigid back end, but never with shocks. XB, this one goes out to you buddy.

Wrong, NO ONE wants these wheels. Also they never came on the K0-K6 bikes

They call them Comstar wheels because they "Com" apart.

The pic above ugh... 2 pet peeves. One, they hammered the gas tank in, sad. Two insufficient rear ans unsafe suspension. They also got rid of the front fender and brace from what I can tell on my cell phone screen.

That bike would be sooooooo much better if they left it stock...

Makes me wonder if it's a false suspension in the back. Like it actually is rigid. Idk. Either way no good.

^^No way anyone could sit on that thing without snapping the cowl unless it was rigid... Can't imagine hitting a speed bump.

Also, I 'm pretty sure the box scooter is the future of cafe racers:

It seems the front is rigid as well, or maybe an inch of travel
