"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Could probably get for $500. I have a spare 350 seat.... I think I could flip this pretty easy with an engine clean and full service and maybe double my money. Concerned about the "battery delete"

Oh yea, and I would repaint the tank obviously

They call them Comstar wheels because they "Com" apart.

Very droll. They call them ComStar because they are Composite (ie many parts) in a star pattern. They were an attempt to make a "mag" wheel that was lighter and stiffer than the cast wheels offered by other manufacturers at the time.

Now that's a tank.

If this had the "much sought after Comstar wheels" I might go for it. I would lengthen the swingarm and lower the seat though.

Wow if any bike has every screamed "my owner wants to be single forever!" it is that bike. Last time I saw that flame print it was on a 40yo guy who cried after he had a go at me and I told him to "f off".

This 350 stock believe it or not is a very aesthetically pleasing and pretty bike when its BONE STOCK
They look great stock, and it doesnt take much to #$%$K them up, but people still manage to all the time.
Its so sad watching a virgin cb350, which is the most refined and pretty sub 400cc model Honda produced, get hacked and ruined.

That's a hell of a lot of money!
IF someone buys that, can they send me the pipe from the 750. Looks to be an RC.

The 450 is a Honda, so by definition it isn't rare....lol
Does look to be clean though. Bet it would polish up nice, same with the 750. The other bike has almost zero value. The one mini bike might be worth a few bucks.

So in gorilla math (just smashing number together to get a rough idea)
-On average every "barn find" bike is $1000-1500 away from passing a state inspection and riding daily. Lets assume the best case of $1000. That is assuming that there are no hidden issues in the bikes.
Buy for $4200 and put the $2000 into the 450 and 750. So total $6200
Sell the GS to the first hipster on the block, again lets go best case. $1000 (some times when you go phishing you catch a whale)
SO now $5200.
The mini bikes are funny, but just toys. Maybe squeeze $750 out of both?
So now $4500 ( the $50 went to beer)
A good solid running 750 is worth what? $3500?? Value takes a HUGE hit when the original pipes are missing.
And a solid 450 has to be worth $2500 right? So all that work, and luck nets $1500 bucks.
I guess there is money to be made, but its a large investment up front of money, and will take a while to see the profit.
Just see better opportunities out there.
Now if the two Hondas were listed as a pair for $2500 it might be different, but this guy not only wants you to pay retail for his bikes, but also wants you to clean out his garage.

On the cheap and fast side of the cheap/fast/quality triangle

I would def hesitate buying a bike from someone who doesn't even know why it sounds better than most sport bikes
"inline 4" ::)

WOW, buy it now, $5000.00 750 found on ebay.

“Project nearly finished." just needs mildly finished. I have ridden it around my neighborhood a few times. Look at the super clean pics and you will see the detail and expert fabrication on this bike

1 front master cylinder is way to small and was just put on for a joke,
2. needs front forks rebuilt
3. Missing a couple small bolts here and there.
4. Paint on tank looks nice but has a few small bubbles coming up.
5. Fiberglass seatpan was bought on ebay but has a break on each side where the mounting hardware goes
6. the fuel is stale and it is a little hard to start now.
7. Needs the little teflon rubbing block that protects swingarm from chain.
8. needs a billit mount made to hold rear nitrogen can for the shock, it is just zip tied on now.
9. i will charge the battery, it is still good..
