"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

It's a way to generate hits and to get email addresses for advertising. If you win the item, you're email address will get inundated with spam.

Seems complicated to collect just one winner's email at a time using ebay. Most likely he is just trying to pad feedback.

I do see a lot of CL postings that phish for numbers and emails  :

they can be bought multiple times, and they're done for many listings. It's also a way to get visits to eBay stores. It's common practice on eBay.

Cant bitch about eBay here... I have a 182 100% with only 2 sold items, it's a useful tool and like any other tool, when used properly you get the results intended.

I'm just going to leave this here. Kinda heartwarming To know there are still good folks out there.

That is nice. Don't see that too often.

Here's a barn find classic.

Looks like the cb350 that got utterly bought out from under me yesterday. I was picking it up for $450-$500... I drove the two hours to Atlanta and then he called me to let me know I drove there for no reason. I was so angry that I bought a dirt bike.

I let the girlfriend tie off the extra length of the tie-downs...

Edit: it's a yamaha ttr250... I bought it to flip but I like it and I'm most interested in trail riding so it may find a home

7K is dreaming, even at auction it might go $2800 - 32 maybe. Sad really, I think the bike if runs out decent is a cool little college commuter with just one miss really... the tires are a good choice, but pushed the "fat tire" too far, back off a bit and it's a 19 year old kids cruiser dream.

how are the tars a good choice ? giant heavy ass tires and wheels are the worse thing you can do to a small low hp bike, it's stupid as fuck, only a complete idiot would do that
how did he get it out to a 450 ? he is a lying pos

I couldn't buy it and ride it in Georgia. The cops would have a field day. The eBay ad says it's polished. That's polished?

Must be the Phonetic influence and cheap coffee, but really?

The "tires" don't mean shit to kids that don't have a clue what performance IS, the fact is these "kids" need to learn on something closer to a pig than a FUCKING R1. I will go on record here and say... I am no mechanical engineer and I don't give a rats ass what those that are or think they are have to say unless what is said has something constructive included. I was commenting on the motorcycle Idiot.

On the subject of fat tires and non-functioning machines, I bring you something you won't be able to unsee. Grab a fork in your hand, and poke your eyes out:

http://www.tarsomarques.com/portfolio/motos/senna-tribute/

Poke around for other disasters, but at least there is a disclaimer that mentions that they're "luxury" "conceptual" pieces. I, for one, like the idea of foregoing carbs and spark plug wires, among other bits, in a bike.

Now that IS asinine, I thingk this guy is "confused" or gender uncertain at best, butt I bet his Miami buds are telling him how bad ass it is.../

I'm so confused... That's not a "suspension/tire combo will ruin the handling of the bike" non-functional piece, it literally cannot function. Fuel and spark are some pretty big parts of the whole internal combustion thing.
