"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Someone needs to be punched in the nads.

Oh, why? This this is insanely detailed and I'm gonna guess in today's crowd your gonna get a 99 out of a 100 mang. Has anyone been up close and personal, seen it move?

Think about what a person with that kind of talent could do if they actually wanted to build a motorcycle?
All I see is a paperweight.

I was thinking that too, he/they whichever beefed up the front down tubes and it could be possible they came up with a plan to stress the motor, everything is certainly lightened up by a bunch.

I guess before I threw it under the bus, with all of the attention to detail and man a shitload of hours on parts, I would listen to the story behind the geoengineering (yep not a word) of the whole deal. Could be it's art too so maybe a lota dollars for another show bike.

I hear ya, but that's one mans opinion. I get it from all sides, I ride with some Harley dudes that would burn this thing if it were parked in front of the hole and others that ride dreams and scooters just as proud... I just thing this cat has skills, and find it hard to believe this is a beer tap.

If building a "performance" bike I want to see the improvements quantified.
I just see a chopper in that build.
And a poor one.

Twin carbs?
Exhaust heating the bowls?
Did they do the math on the geometry to make the suspension at least work as well as stock?
Wonder how much of the CF is stickers.

Do like the hydraulic clutch though.

There is some beautiful attention to detail on things like rear indicators, sub frame supports, engine covers etc and then there's useless crap like the hydodipped fake carbon fiber, eternal alternator, pipes and intake system and so on. But someone knows how to work metal for sure. Just not sure I would feel safe riding it and maybe that's OK. It should be in a personal collection where people can stare at the details for hours and never put their lives at risk riding it around a corner.

Some very nice parts on there too such as the front caliper and motoGadget speedo and so on.

I would of flogged the piss out of it 20 25 years ago... and given the chance, I would toss it around a little right now. The pipe running by the bowls does raise concern and the noise is probably off putting.
