Nothing wrong with Legos . . . I don't mind spending money on quality or period correct parts, but that looks like a $900 +/- set, not $5K.

Nice bike, the current owner "Purchased the bike for $1650 and invested $4746.49 in parts (Total: $6396.49)." http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/mcy/4010847074.html

Base coat HOK Molly Orange, frame, tank, battery
cover, rear shocks tops, headlight housing, air filter
box, lower tree, swing arm, headlight mounts,
Fenders, HOK Gamma gold / HOK Kandy Rootbeer
( burnt Orange to go with seat) 625.00

Sand blast fenders, prep for finish 137.50

Wow, He could of powder coated the whole thing cheaper than that.

That's a lot of Rustoleum rattle cans too....

Unless I'm an idiot (arguable) this "looks" decent. Somewhat tempting to join the stroker club.

If I was more of a man, a tough guy, I would buy one. In the meantime I will just stick with my milk-toast TL1000r. Thanks for posting, great ad!

Todays market? That's worth every bit of 2x the asking price if the spare parts are in good shape amd the bike runs as nicely as the ad implies. If ya have the cash, DO IT!
