Well, as he says, at least all the hard work is done. At this point, all you have to do is buy a new frame and start over.

"Mad Max style" and a bunch of exhaust...

Someone offer this dude some cash. Doesn't look like a bad fixer-upper:

What would be a good number for this thing? He said make an offer, but no lowballs. I freaking hate that. That deserves a lowball.

Offer $750 and be prepared to go up. Everything depends on what others are offering, and if he gets a few low offers without getting anything high he'll likely let it go for cheap.
Looks like a good start, but that seat is hideous.
I text this guy as soon as I saw the ad. "Of course it's titled," says he... as though that was the dumbest question I could ask. :)
Just for kicks I asked if he'd take $500 and he messaged back and said he'd been offered more and he wasn't selling it. He wouldn't answer me after that.
Haha

That seat really is awful.

awesome a zero emission bike a triumph pf technology

a green bike zero carbon foot print

Love the "hangs with 600s" comment

All that tells me is he is the poor guy in the group and rings the bike's neck all the time

Looks like a real POS. I guess cuz it's a Harley you can ask big bucks. Even so seems high for a bike that needs a complete overhaul.

It's an XLCR - hated by HD owners when Willi G designed it and didn't sell well. It was a factory Cafe Racer and came out after the last CR fad. That should fetch good dollars when it's back together and leaking oil. (sorry. Couldn't resist that)

Yep, yep... only made 2 years, very collectable. Not only does he say it's "Real" but looks to have most of the original bits that made it a XLCR. Also states he has the original fairing... Bet he gets the asking price or damn close.

I dig that thing. Never seen it before but I like it. For some reason, and call it heresy if you may, I'm really liking the "cafe'd" harleys I've been seeing lately.

Here's an oldy but goodie.

When done right, I love a good cafe Sportster. They may be heavy, and lack any real top end but off the line and up to 70mph they are a blast.
