I need the motor out of it... seems when you hang the clutch off the crank and add a lever setup on an otherwise automoto add big kids and elbows you snap that whole clutch right off :eek:
 
Buy a brand new 124cc lifan motor for that price. The small bikes are ALL chinese these days. In fact the big 4 are phasing all the small bikes out.

That'd be a shame if it is true. Seems like there are still huge markets in S and SE Asia for small displacement bikes, and although Chinese bikes have their niche, plenty of people realize they're junk and prefer Japanese.

I can 100% guarantee you it is true. Let me be clear when I sya I am refering to the child sized bikes like 50's 70's and 90's. Well, wait. Even 110's, 125's, and more. Oh shit yep it most of the small bikes. None of the small displacement bikes have been anything but chinese and thai built for some time now.

I am certified Kawi tech. The kfx90 is manufactured by KYMCO, who made parts for honda for years. I am only listing that one because I figure it's the most credible example you could get from me. The same goes for nearly all the small bikes. In fact even some of the manufacturers use the exact same platform for competing models simply rebadged. It's rather shady if you ask me.

Honda sells even larger motorcycles such as 150's that come straight off the line in thailand. The grom is also built there. Pretty much the same exact engine as the ones posted above.

I have been hearing good things about Lifan, used to be shit but now with the upgrade in machines and not using insanely poor quality carbs you really can't beat the price. It's also for a bar bashing fity race bike that rarely is shifted but up or down one... needs to run on blood!!

Bikes been up for a while with no bites... Over priced but not a cheap bike. He's looking for a BMW junkie that wants to leave the bike original. The trade stuff was new, but honestly wtf good is a hairless sheep? I haven't googled it for fear I may find something I can't unsee!

Goddamnit i wish i was closer to that one. Why are you not already there that exhaust is worth the cost of the whole bike

I have to admit I wanted to keep my old BMW stock...until I said fuck it and when I was done...there was no going back. Never understood why anyone would care what is done with a bike as long as the new owner doesn't just trash it and leave it on the side of the road.
