Hi Guys,
I'm rebuilding my carb (first time I have done this), when installing the main pilot jet, I have done the following:
- Installed the main jet nozzle (yes it's in the proper way, I can see it protruding into the venture)
- Main jet emulsifier
- Main jet
What I am worried about is that the emulsifier is not fully seated (see pic below). As far as I can tell it is not obstructed by anything, when screwing in the emulsifier I put my finger into the venture and blocked the hole where the nozzle exits into the venture, as I screwed the emulsifier in I could feel the nozzle being pushed out, so I know they are making direct contact.
My question is, is this normal? I have not put it back in yet to try and see if it works because my carb is a pain to get back in.
Thanks in advance,
Slav
