Initially after some research and a lot of help from board members I was leaning toward Dream 50 production race tires but $100+ is a tad pricey so I ended up with a set of IRC NR53 80/90's

Brackets welded. An iced coffee on a hot day gets you pretty far at the local muffler shop. I have the go ahead to bring a 6-pack by next time ;D
Goodbye mounting tabs
Threw on a coat of high temp paint and got to wrapping. Not the best picture but it was late and my arms where itching something awful. I forgot to wear my gloves. I suggest wearing a biohazard suit when working with this stuff....
Next on the checklist is addressing a slight oil leak low on the left crankcase cover and a leaky petcock. Seems these showed up after the kickstand was installed. Probably has something to do with the angle.
Has anyone had any luck with making gaskets with silicone?
