I had fit issues with my Dyna coils under my CB450 tank.
maduncle said:Obvious question but - where were they originally and why don't they go back there?
jchek779 said:It would probably be easiest to trim down the coil studs and either cut/weld the existing brackets or fab a new bracket with some steel. You could also try taking what you have and bending the bracket ears so that the coils droop down some. This will push them down and slightly in where there is more room under the tank.

maduncle said:I made small flat metal tabs to mount my Dyna coils to the stock mounting bracket - do your new coils fit inside the bracket frame?
compoundcycles said:Starter installed. Leg guard painted black. Chain ready to fit. Grips on. Muffler clamped to exhaust. I got some screws that fix the honda badges back straight. I'm getting the front brake line fixed on Monday and I should be receiving another package from DCC with misc electronics to get her started. I hope to ride around the block next Sunday. Then onto lighting.

compoundcycles said:I know. Its a rear tire being used as a front tire. I read that its a good idea to flip it so drive force direction becomes breaking force direction. I know it becomes more of an issue on wet surfaces but I dont plan on riding in the rain. It can always be flipped back.
