Hi,

These pipe is made in Vietnam. It is double steel pipe and painted with heat resistant paint. I order the head pipe from a pipe shop (there are 100s of shops like that in Saigon) and it much cheaper than those posted on ebay. It cost me about US$ 60 for whole pack.

The seat is also made in a seat shop in my city and it is not cost too much. The front end is CB500T and handle bar is unknown type but I luckily have during a window shopping in a second hand market. The rear fender is from a CB250 night hawk.

I am currently having extra ignition set from Bore Tech that I bought and used for only 3 months. I replace it with the original point ignition since the original seem to be more effective than the expensive BoreTech ignition. I hope to have a swap for something else with that Bore Tech.

Thanks a lot for your comments and it shake me lot since this is my first cafe.

PS: If any of you in Saigon, just let me know and I will be a free guide to very corner of my city (on weekend).

Re: CB450 Cafe in Vietnam

Thanks a lot you all. Actually, I am lucky to get a NOS CB450 K0 tank without the badges. I bought these NOS badge at US20 + US$10 for shipping to Vietnam.

The only thing that made in Vietnam is head pipe. I am trying to keep the whole lot of original parts with the un modified frame and engine so one day I could return them to the Original Condition

Thanks

Re: CB450 Cafe in Vietnam

Re: CB450 Cafe in Vietnam

That's very cool. I love the gloss white headers and the white accent on the seat. Makes it look very original.

Is that the original front brake setup? Looks beefy.

Re: CB450 Cafe in Vietnam

Re: CB450 Cafe in Vietnam

Viet, that's a great bike! Nice job.

Dual calipers have been used before, especially in vintage racers, nice touch! What bike did the parts come from?

Re: CB450 Cafe in Vietnam

Viet....nice bike!
