I myself was looking at the stock pegs... What if I cut them off at the base, relocated them by welding a new bracket to the eom mount?

I just got mine back from the machine shop yesterday and it still needs some tweaking. Don't ask how much that cost me. Suffice it to say the invoice was an eye opener. However, they are much more substantial at 1/2" thick than my original home made version of 1/4" thickness (a lot of flex in the lever).

Have you ever had to change a rear wheel on the side of the highway because you got a flat? This guy has. If not for the center stand, it woulda been some kind of fun getting it on the back of a truck. Instead, I changed whe wheel with a spare I had in my basement at the time.
But, its your bike and I look forward to another guys idea of how a DOHC should look!
