The stems came in today so I was able to make some progress finally. If you ordered one it will ship tomorrow.

Into the neck for a test fit.

I also had these retro nuts made to fit a gsxr stem. I just love the way it all turned out.

The nut only works on gsxr stems and looks like the original CB750 nut. I think it completes the look well. Here is a before and after

This build has been on the back burner for a few weeks now but I've been gathering parts. I'm going to use the harley hub because it's already laced and disc in the rear looks cooler than it is functional. Disc was there so I figured why not. Picked up a rear caliper from a harley off eBay for $65 shipped. The axle hole is 3/4" (19mm) so I'll need to bore it out to 20mm. Little test fit

Looks promising.

Replaced the stock harley bearings with the 20mm ID bearings. So far so good

Diameter difference.

Axle installed.

Now i will bore out the caliper and see what spacers I need.

Got my seat pan and the length I want. This seat length doesn't work with the existing frame setup.

Trying to get it looking correct before anything gets welded.

just be sure and pull off a spring so you can check for tire to seat clearance at full bump

So I made some pins that match the inside of the tube perfectly to ensure the loop matches the frame.

Cut down the loop to get my length.

Ah...

Seat pan

Removed the tubes and started playing with strut location.

Bored out the rear caliper. Need to get spacers figured out.
