Are you installing rivet nuts into the seat?

I installed them before taking the pan to upholstery. They but a very dense foam down first so I don't feel them.

Glass bead. Now I'll clean the guts. I love how clean the get

Woah, so you took that entire bank of carbs into the blasting cabinet for glass bead blasting? That's different. I've seen all kinds of threads about ultrasonic cleaning, but never this.

Are you going to completely disassemble to ensure you removed all of the glass particles? Just curious more than anything. They look super!

Yeah I'll go back and clean all the guts for sure. That glass would do some damage.

So I've been working on this oil can. Wanted to make mine but also make it so that it could be a bolt on solution.

Prototype is being made now. I will test it then make a few more. Comes with all new lines oil feed lines, fits a bit more than 3 qts and will be 100% bolt on. Should have it done this week.

Got the prototype parts back that will be used on my build. Looks promising

Holds 3+ quarts. I'll weld it up this weekend and get feed lines run.

So it's been a while since I posted. We have been in the process of moving Cognito Moto to a new location.

I was back and forth with the tank and had been working with Cliff Meyer of Meyerbuilt MetalWorks on some other stuff so I convinced him to make me an aluminum tank. The core shape was based on the CB500t tank with a little extra touches. The shape of the 500t tank really flows with the seat but I didn't want to use the cb500t tank again.

I'm going to Indiana this weekend to pick of the frame and tank. Very excited. I'm going to try and finish this bike in 3 weeks.
