CL360 rescue

I've soaked and cleaned the pistons a few times, but those rings don't seem to be coming loose. I'm considering taking them to a friend with a lathe to have the rings machined until they weaken enough to fall out, at this point.

TOPIC CHANGE!
While this has all been going on, I've been fighting to get my rotary-powered Datsun 280z ready for the first hillclimb event.

For those who are unfamiliar with hillclimb races, I have some raw race footage from last year on YouTube:
2015 Hillclimb Season (Driven Daily's Modest Miata)

I just found out that I won't even have the Datsun back from the chassis shop 'till after the first event, so I've got to drop these fun bike projects and focus on a place-holder. I've been ignoring my CRX for awhile, and I suppose this is a good time to circle back on it. That parts I've acumulated actually look like a pretty decent build.

I already swapped in some good (un-tuned) coilovers from ISC. I'll probably head back up to their shop to get it dialed in a bit better before the first event.

I'm not going to clutter this place up with the build though, so if you're interested, Like Driven Daily on Facebook

21 days 'till Ascutney.
