I would test it on some scrap aluminum first. I have only used it on chromed steel.
 
Okay. Thanks! I think I might just stick with the vinegar and concentrated lemon juice trick.. Unless you know a better solution for cleaning carbs up of rust, and some lime/calcium?

Never had carbs get that dirty so have never had to clean them.
 
Well I bought this bike used. It's been sitting out in the elements against a shed for 4 years and I'm trying to recover it! Everything seems okay in the engine but dang the carbs and the bike itself looks like crap!!... >.>

So, 6ish months since the last update. Anything new with it? I became enthralled with how things were getting cleaned up haha
 
Been working on the Speedmaster.

Now that I am happy with where I have taken that I can work on my 1200 Bandit to get that up to being saleable. Then that can help fund the Honda.
