DO THE TON BOOK - First Edition - Photos & Specs needed....

Hey guys and gals, I have started working on the layout with the submissions so far. Please be sure to include a couple paragraphs about you and your bike as well as your real name, member name where your from and what model and year your bike is. What you send is what goes in, so if you don't send it, it won't be in the book. Also the book format seems to work best with 3 images per person, 1 large and 2 small with 2 paragraphs of text under the 2 smaller images. That way each person gets a 2 page spread in the book. Sorry for the minor changes but this project is a learning process that will develop as we go, at least for the first go around. Thanks for your help everyone. -MBS

Trust me I know, I know. 3 is tough. So far though thats a dozen pictures just from the first four members. Don't worry this book will be sweet!
 
Hey Guys, the pics look great in the book so far, but many of you have only submitted pics. Please upload to the site at least the make and model of your bike to go into the book. It would also be nice to have a short description about the build. If you sent in pics, also send in info about your bike. If you have not sent in anything -What are you waiting for??? I know there are a lot of great bikes and builds on this site - so lets have 'em. Noel where is your pics and info?? I thought you would have been first to upload it to the drop box. :D

Another idea I thought about is for members with multiple bikes - instead of having to feature them in the 3 pic limit, we can have each bike featured with their own pics and pages. So if for example you have 2 bikes you can send in 6 pics (3 pics of each bike), what do you all think of that option?

I will tell you what this has been and will be a learning experience as a first go around. -MBS
 
Can the pics be changed out later if I get some decent shots this summer?

Some of you have sent in with your pictures some additional info such as bike make and model, some have sent in only your name or DTT member name and most of you have just sent me pictures. Lets have some consistency here guys. Drewski is the only one to send in everything. Please send the following info with your pictures, if you have already uploaded your pics, please also upload the info:

Real name (required)
DTT Member Name (required)
Location (required - not your mailing address, just where your located)
bike Make and Model (required)
a couple paragraphs about the bike/owner or build (optional)

This info is really important to the book unless everyone wants to take a vote for a pics only book. But I think its supposed to represent DTT and its members. Great pics so far, thanks guys! -MBS

No worries everyone that wants to be in it will get a place in the book. There is still time before the Sept. 1 deadline, but the sooner the better.

I'm with Tim on this one, i'll send you the info and pics after i finish the bike. Hopefully i'll be "done" by early May.

ill prolly send mine in the next few weeks. just finishing up the carbs, need to take her down to the local shop and have the new tires put on

Hey Bill...
There is a major photoshoot happening this thursday, back drop, professional lights, (even makeup person if you can believe it..)
I"ll submit my pics after that!!.. ;D
