Last one - we just happened to pull over on the way home to stretch our legs when Tim and Kemp pulled up next to us at a gas station. Oddly enough, the Burger King across the street is where Justin and myself stopped on the way home last year for breakfast.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to a few people. First of all has to be Kiley and Denise for not only letting all of us invade their property for a few days but also treating us so well while we were there. Truly southern hospitality lives on with these two and I can't imagine a more gracious host and hostess.

Second is those of you that helped out when my brother had his little unexpected dismount. Whoever it was that stopped on the side of the road with him and Logan who let me use his truck to retrieve the bike. I might add that Logan had only known me for about thirty seconds before he handed me the keys to his truck. I'm very, very grateful and it just illustrates what kind of a group this is.

Last but not least, thank you to everyone else for being yourselves. Barber itself is fun but for me the best part of the weekend is just being able to see some old friends again and meet a few new one. Since I left the military I've missed the camaraderie and sense of community that I found there. They only thing that's come close to that is getting together will all you Tonners.

Okay, I'm done being gushy.

Had a blast this year and looking forward to next year.

Hey fix I am glad you made it home safely. It was an honor to meet you. Im hoping you approve the poster idea.

If you make a poster I'm gonna need one. I told him that picture was gonna be epic when it was taken!

John: that would have been myself, Tim (Kioskguy), and Moe. Moe is actually the guy that painted the CB750 that was in the give-away.

We were just glad that it was a little dismount, and nothing major.

Oh, Trek and I were glad to see Logan riding his beautiful 360 into Barber on our way out Sunday... can we get an update on what the problem was?

Timing plate hold down bolts were grounding to the points. Group fix!

And I love the shot of Gretta Mitchell!

Yeah the insulating washers at the terminals were worn thru and allowing the terminal bolts to ground the positive side of the points to the negative side. We simply swapped out the washers. I was wondering how she ran after that especially since we didn't get to do a shake down that night.

So let's run with this a bit and turn it into a vintage boxing event inspired poster for the DO THE TON Mama Tried 3 2012 get together :)

Decided to jump on board with the "fix up a fix photo for fun" bandwagon.
