These things aren't the easiest things to track down. I hear it's kinda like prying a set of heads outta your claws there Brad! ;)

Dang hoarders!! :(

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

O'k... finally something to report.

Got some parts today! Whoo hoo!! ;D

The makings of a good lookin' engine:

Missing something here:

The guts are out of it. The crank, rods, pistons, etc. It'll need a crank rebuild, rods, pistons, rings and a hone job at least. It's gonna be hard to resist going a little further with some hot rod porting, etc!! :D

Nice paint on the carb bodies. What was he thinking??

DSCF8428.jpg

And a Tim's cup of carb bits!!

A few more interesting pieces:

Boge Mullholland shocks!

Iggy boxes!!

Assorted covers, cables, wiring, etc.

All and all, a good score for a fair price. :D

We may or may not use this right away on the h1/750 Project. Seaglider is still hot on the trail of a complete drop-in-and-ride h2 engine. If we acquire that one, we'll go with it! :D

If so, who knows where this one will end up. ::)

Haha! Oh... nothin' special. ::)

No radical, hi-horsepower, monster motor for me. Oh, and no reeds. ;) :D

Just a nice, reasonably strong, street motor for me thank-you-very-much!! :D

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

Wondering if you saw this Drew at Mid-Ohio had some good ideas .....

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

Yes Dread, how could I not notice that!! ;) :D
A sweet h2 to be sure!! 8) Some very cool mods and ideas!! :D

Yes Walms, it's "supposed" to be Seaglider's ride! He calls it "our" bike for some reason though. ;D It's truly a Drewski/Seaglider Team Project. :)

Yeah....moved from old Goldwings to a ZRX (now fairly modified)...trying to move slowly toward a stable....hence the emphasis on "ours"....you know "happy wife, happy life"....words to live by ;D

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

Nice score. Ill keep my eyes open on the east cost for anything you may need. Shit appears every so often.

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

Judging by the paint on those carbs, I'm gonna guess that you picked that motor up in Scarborough! Did the bike it came out of have 24" 100 spoke gold rims?

Reds, are you just slamin' Scarboro, or do you have inside info on this bike?? ;D

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

Scarlem born and raised. Only in Scarborough can you get the finest gold plating in a spraycan from your local Canadian tire right next to the gold crown air freshners with matching kleenex box cover and don't forget your Firechicken (firebird) stickers for the full custom pimp effect on your ride

Haha! Sounds a lot like Rexdale too bud!! ;D

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

Saw a '76 Firebird on the new "reality" show "Are you faster than a Redneck"...its on Speed Channel. It was up against a BMW, not sure the model of the Beemer but the Firebird had an aluminum block 600 HP motor plus handling upgrades....looked real ratty though.....wouldn't have been surprised to see a bucket of chicken in the back seat. Anyway, kicked that Beemers ass....YEEEHAAA! Think I'll watch that show again....pretty funny ;D ;D

Re: A Drewski/Seaglider Production

We've been quiet for a while but there has been some interesting activity. We're getting the crank back shortly for the first engine...but exciting news....we sourced a Fast by Gast stage 3 drag motor for an alternate power plant!! We're now in discussions with others who have tamed these beasts for the street on the best way to make use of this radical engine. Have a look....
