Re: DWMS RACING CB550F SUPER REVERSE PORT! INTAKE PHOTOS!
Wow Joey. That intake manifold looks super. God it's almost going to be a shame to put this motor into a bike and run it. It should be in the Louvre under a soptlight!
Edit: How are the frame rails going to go through there?
Re: DWMS RACING CB550F SUPER REVERSE PORT! INTAKE PHOTOS!
Thank you for all the compliments Brothers and I want one of those shirts when you get them made! Hahahaha!
Brother Deviant1 I am going to put a horseshoe shaped bar at the bottom of the frame to connect the two bottom frame rails with a single downtube from the neck to the horshoe between the carburetors.
Re: DWMS RACING CB550F SUPER REVERSE PORT! INTAKE PHOTOS!
I am honestly kinda speechless at the moment... Bravo, real cool stuff... So will this effect performance at all? I assume it will be a warm ride. Cheers Brother!
Re: DWMS RACING CB550F SUPER REVERSE PORT! VELOCITY STACKS
I was wondering about the rake hillsy... I'd say keep it as tight as everything will go and still clear the wheel. The v stacks look great joey. My 350 project will be getting stacks as well.
Re: DWMS RACING CB550F SUPER REVERSE PORT! VELOCITY STACKS
Brothers as always I could never thank you enough for all of the compliments!
As for the rake my dads 550 is here and I got the measurements off of it and have plenty of tire clearance so I do not have to rake the front end.
I am going to start building the frame this week and am definately going to extend the rear and am thinking about raking the front end a little but I will have to set the front end up and see if I like the stock or raked look better.
Re: DWMS RACING CB550F SUPER REVERSE PORT! VELOCITY STACKS
Hahahaha! Brother Twisted I was talking about very little if any rake! I meant more like a drag bike rake if I do it! I am running inverted forks on the front and they are close to stock length.
I have always liked the front end angle on the 550 so I will probably build the frame back with stock rake but I am extending the rear some and running a 180 tire!
