That was great! The huge smile, and the bonding time has to make your heart melt. I wish i could get my son that interested.

Great job all around.

thank you Gary. My mother in love (law) gave me the advice to follow your kids interests. I have to admit this was way more fun than 6000 screaming little girls at a Selena Gomez Concert with my daughter.

As a father of four girls and a young son, this gives me hope. Not least because only one of them has any real interest in mechanics or woodworking, and most of them like music that makes my brain hurt.

I've been known to thrash and throttle noobs , unleash a torrent of invective on unsuspecting ignorance , demean and deride self proclaimed professors of the motorcycle art and openly show disdain for any and all attempts to put form before function .

It's rare that I get to applaud and thank another enthusiast for not only their accomplishment but for sharing their experience with all of us .

I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one here that received a personal thank you in PM .

To both of you , you are so very welcome . I anticipate further installments in the saga in due course .

My wife says "people will remain the same until the pain of remaining the same is greater than the pain of change." Kop we appreciate you more than you know. I have told my son that a wise man learns from others I have also told my kids that I am into child rearing...the more rearing that you need the bigger the ass I will become."

My son goes back and reads this DTT thread over and over. I hope it is there for his kids kids. Love sometimes is a size 13 shoe :) sometimes you have to throttle and choke to get things started in the right direction

I feel you DrJ. We have to be the cool dads for ours, so they don't come to forums all sad like :(

+1 we do unto our kids as we wished was done to us...we break the cycle by building a cycle...truth is in a paradox

Triple Nickle is Stacie B. London. She graced the cover of Iron & Air Issue #3 and joined us at Kiley's place last October for an incredible night of just plain good times.

She's standing just behind Kiley at the nose of his CB400F in the black cap.

Tim thank you for DTT !!!!

I hope to have a similar moment when my little guy and I finish his dirt bike. I hope it sticks so we can do up his first street bike next. You guys did an awsome job and the vids were super.
