50 bucks... worth it to keep the paint till we get our other pipes from mandrel bends. We need to practice welding stainless and need to put the pipes on the dyno to find the best combination. This offered the best heat protection of all the wraps according to the reviews. We are currently running a heat-shield and regular fiberglass pipe wrap and it is still heating things up. We thought this might cool things down under the fairing. We will see...cafe mike said:I thought wetting it was just to help wrap it tighter. I never worked with it.
