Early CB750, when this hit the roads it was a huge deal. Disc brake! 4 cylinder with multi carbs! crazyness.
It remains and icon for good reasons.
Some will say its beautiful

Now look at this...
If you cant spot a DZ real improvements to how it functions as a motorcycle you should quit now.
Sure the looks are subjective, hell some people like CXs and Hawks....But the fact is most will think this bike is beautiful as well.
Oh and the pictures dont do this bike justice, its a friends bike. Built "back in the day" and never raced.

This topic always comes up in one way of another Look back at the last couple of botm : form is a clear winner. there is a hand full of hot motored bikes on this site but its mainly a "look what i bought now some one tell me how to put it on" page lately. No risk no creativity just pj will you help me

O and a shinny paint race bike sitting in your house is just vanity, like expensive furnature with plastic over it to keep it clean.

I never go to BOTM here to avoid the discussions.
Lets face it, this site has always been a style site for the most part, again thats fine.

bikes built for a form or bikes built for function are just different aspect of the hobby.
Sure some will only like one or some will take parts from both camps, but at the end of the day they are just different. Its like chevy vs ford

It's not many cups of tea around here, But i'm "building" a 1340 Evo... in other words... Not stock drive train. When I get around to jetting it with a V stack, I'll post. Because thats what fly's around here! Personally, I think most around here dispise h.d. because they cant afford yo run with it... But I dont think any of them would kick something like this out of bed.

Did you do the math to figure out the spring rate? At the angle in the picture it doesn't look like it has much travel. Is that true or is it just the angle?

1 1/2 in travel with a 2500 pound spring it works real well by accident i was wasted drunk when i built it
