GP 200 Race Prep

It sounds like you're making some serious upgrades to your CB175 for GP 200, and oiling issues are definitely something to solve before you push the new setup hard. The CB200 oil pump is a solid choice, and tuning it for better flow could help, especially since your oil cooler doesn’t seem to be doing much. Checking for blockages and monitoring oil temps are good ideas, and cutting a donor engine for visual inspection could give great insights. When dealing with performance tuning and engine data analysis, using accurate curve fitting software can help map temperature trends, pressure variations, and performance metrics. Is great for smoothing out test data, helping you find patterns in oil temp fluctuations or piston wear over time.

Bottom end is all rollers, so the oil pressure is really low. CB200 oil pump has a larger piston. On a sloper we had to machine the CB160 oil pump housing to take a CB200 piston with slightly less than stock clearance.
