I have one that is a culmination of several years. 72 frame, 71 motor, 73 tank, 72 seat...and so on. Motor has a 750 Shell-Thuett kit with megacycle cams, valve springs, and other various work done to the crank and elsewhere. Paired with 36 Mikunis, Barnett Clutch and TZ750 clutch springs, among other modifications.

Shakes a little and leaks a oil at times (hello high compression...), but starts second kick hot or cold. Been in my family for almost 20 years now and runs as good as the day it was built.

Puts Harley Davidson Sportsters to shame all the time. Called the "bull shit stopper" by a local BMW Riders group.

Hey, I got a few XS650s. I am currently rebuilding one and turning it into a cafe racer. I have another one that is completely torn apart (have a frame, but no papers for the frame) Im gonna post some pics of the current build soon, I'm just gettin into this site now...looks like a great spot!

no.. you havent missed anything yet..
Im trying to set up a DTT group/club discount from the usual XS suppliers: MikesXS, 650Cential, DimeCityCycles etc..etc..
But I still dont have enough xs650ers coming out of the woodworks.. I need at least 200 confirmed/documented members before they would talk to us or give us anything worth mentioning...

I'm doing a hardtail chopper for a friend here in Welland ,it should be finished by the end of Feb.
Next i'll be building an XS650 enduro with 18" and 21" wheel combo and when that one's done i'll build a clone of a Norton road racer.I also have a bunch of extra parts i'm selling ,i just put and add in under the classifieds.Al
