I did indeed have a vw back in '07. Hit a concrete wall and semi, on 465, due to some black ice. I currently have a 1989 e30 325is(since 2008 ) that I've partially rebuilt/restored.

Ha, yep that's me. Small world. Only forums I really visit anymore are this one and r3vlimited. I didn't even end up going to volksfest this bc I couldn't find anyone to go with. Haven't ventured to EP Werks in a minute either. You have/had that 24V GTI right? What are you riding these days?
OK guys I just sent the image over to the place that is going to digitize it for my embroidery person. Just the digitizing is going to be anywhere from $25-$80...yikes. Anyway, she said they are super busy but she should have it back to me in a week. I'll keep you updated.

Check out stitch sisters on facebook. They do custom embroidery and clothing based out of noblesville. My old boss' wife owns the company.
I'm in no way aiming to make any money on this. I just happen to have a good friend with a sewing business so I decided to float the idea by her. If she agrees to do the patches she will put them up on her etsy.com site and you all can purchase them off of her that way. However, I had no clue it would cost that much just to get the image ready for embroidery. Apparently it's way more involved than I thought.
The embroidery place emailed me just after I posted this...the fee to digitize our logo is $80...suck They will have it done early next week so hopefully we can get these soon.

wow man. $80 bucks is alot to fork out!. i know i really appreciate some one spending $80 so that all of us can get a patch! im only 23 and married so my financial isnt terrible but deff not awesome either so i really appreciate it!
