I should quit while I'm ahead; or, *Bikes That Get You Off*

Replying from my phone, so I cant post a pic but... When it comes to attainable machines the one that has really been working for me for a couple years is the KTM RC8. Fucking perfect, and mean as hell in the style department. Ad that to the top of the line performance and its a winner all day long in my book.

In race trim... there's something about that street version though...maybe it's the tail ? ;D

I know it doesn't rival high end sport bikes or super clean modified customs, but the "2 stroke-er" in me loves this! It's the only pic I've ever seen of this, but I love it! :D

Looks like a Kawi Triple in a Yammy RZ frame. I actually started a project like this, but then woke up and sold the RZ. :p

Maybe some day... :-\

I with you on the Kawa triples and think I need to add the following bikes to my earlier post - I will own an early blue H2 one day, I keep promising myself one but values here in the UK have gone stupid high now (£12,000 + for a reasonable standard restored bike)

Does that blonde caome as part of the standard kit on the KTM? If so I'm on my way to the dealer to order one :-*

Yup. If I was going to buy a track "able" street bike, the RC8 does it for me too. Near perfection.

I love the variety of machines in this thread. :)

Even the variety within each post (see DrJ) is testament to the fact that "just one" won't do! :D

(I need a bigger garage! )

I am also a fan of the KTM. For me though, there are two bikes that wet my whistle completely. One modern, one not so much.

First the Ducati MH900e:

Second the Bimota CB400f:

Of course there are hundreds of others, but those two are the creme' de la creme' in my book.

Twins are always good... And that Projeckt Z900 is amazing. So's that G50 in Metisse frame.

Arguably one of the most important DIY bikes ever built. And it's by one of our cousins from over in New Zealand, the DIY capital of the world.

Way too much cool inspiration here, gents! Awesome show!

I know this was only a hypothetical doodle and I've showed it before, but I really dig this thing in every way. A lot of gold to be mined here:
