Had a bit left in the tune . I went a jet too lean on my last run. Was in the middle of going back to what I had and going up a sprocket when conditions changed . Decided to leave that for next year . Packed up and headed home. Got home , had a bath , slipped in bath, smashed soap dish and ended up with ten stitches in my arm

Must feel good though to have had such a good run after all your planning and scheming.

What's planned for next year? I saw you were thinking of flat sided carb perhaps. Which one would you go for?

May go for a Oko flat slide 28 mm and will be adding a wide band air fuel gauge . Bike went better than ever and gearbox was a bit new. Have not even done first oil change yet. Odometer only reads 145 km. Speedo reads a little bit high( out by 4 mph) my best recorded speed timed was 82.27 and best speed on speedo was 87 mph . Had a great meeting. Although I am not a high profile racer I feel like I represent this small group of enthusiasts on do the ton and thankyou all for your support. If only I could push my bike out to the ton. I try to keep the bike standard enough so things I do with it are achievable by our group

On the start line staring down at quarter mile markers on the short track for bikes under 175 mph and cars under 150 mph. Long track for the big boys

No grid girls for us. Shade was well appreciated at 42+ deg c. Still love my new leathers and boots for this year. Not brand new but new for me. Shame dririder no longer make race leathers.
