Thank god it's March so riding season is soon and thank god my birthday is this month so I can justify buying some gear to get ready for the season.
I've been riding with some cheap-o work boots and the soles have worn down past the rubber to the hard plastic near the toes and heels from dragging as I stop and start. I tried to teach in them the other day and discovered that it's near impossible to walk straight because the soles are so mis-shapen. Fun stuff.
So I just bought this pair of old engineer boots on e-bay. For under $20 can't go wrong, I just hope they fit right. Now I'll be staking out the mailbox every day waiting for them to come. ;D
