I'll post a review once it arrives!

I was looking that that. I feel you could slip the DCC Seat's prong right into the front bolt on.

Let us know how it goes, Mini.

Ended up chopping my rear subframe - going for a more brat feel. The seat fits *much* better, hugging the frame rails. easily mounted using some 90 degree brackets attached to the seat using short sheet metal screws and to the cross bar behind the battery box using bolts and wing nuts.

It just makes you wish Honda Yamaha Triumph would have just made it easy on themselves and just put a loop on these frames.
...would have saved me a lot of trouble.

Hey guys, reviving this thread as it seems I'm not the only one still struggling to figure this out.

@minibike69 - I've chopped the rear of my frame and cut off the original seat mounting tabs. I thought mounting this seat would be a bit easier but have stalled out. Do you have any pics of your seat mounted? I'd love to see what you came up with.

Has anyone else actually tried or seen the Slipstream Cycle solution in action? http://slipstreamcycle.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=66

I'm getting there...just need to get this damn seat on! Your help is appreciated!

Thanks!!

Don't get what the two metal tabs in the front of the seat are for, I guess for slots in their separately available seat pan, just seems unstable. Good looking bile nonetheless. I like the brat seats cuz they had mounting bolts installed in the seat already, but these new ribbed seats no dice.
