My '71 Kawasaki F8 250 - (first) 'tracker

My hand is healing, and I had to find something to do in the sun today. Got my exhaust manifold back from the powdercoater and got the exhaust mocked up. Still have to make 1 bushing and get some springs for it to be "installed".

We've apparently got a sheet metal roller at work, so eventually I'll make a custom expansion chamber, but for now it will do.

Newbie onboard here .... the post is old but when I saw the familiar orange bike and then the metalwork on the tank I thought '' this guy is serious " . Fantastic job is all I can say !

I had an F-8 Kwacker many years ago . Bought it for $250 bucks and run the piss out of it , never gave me a moments problem . I even drowned the fucker in a river , dumped all the water out and run it another year or so ....... didnt faze it . Dirt , street , you name it . That rotary valve engine is awesome ... torque like a 4 stroker but power like a 2 stroke . It was overall one of my all time favorite motorcycles . I wish I could find another in good shape to mess around with again . I sold it for what I paid for it and bought a KAWA F-11 which was a POS in comparison . It was pretty ... but a gutless thing .

Lookin' mighty good !
