Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 15 - OUTDOOR PHOTOS

Awesomeness has been achieved...I love it

Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 15 - OUTDOOR PHOTOS

Thanks mazdog,

Update:

Been fiddling around with getting the perfect A/F ratio. I think I am close. Boy does this thing FLY. It is fast! However, I do not think I will be doing the ton, until I get some mikunis or someone who is not 6'5" on the bike.

On another note, My electric start is pretty useless now that I increased my compression ratio. The only way I can get it to even turn over i by push starting. She fires up right away though, so usually it isn't too terrible.

Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 15 - OUTDOOR PHOTOS

That seat is art! Lookin sweet in the snow. What is it with tall dudes with small bikes...I am 6'5" also

Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 15 - OUTDOOR PHOTOS

I don't know... I think we need to start getting bigger bikes....

Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 15 - OUTDOOR PHOTOS

Haha, Im 6'3 on a CL160....

But aside from that, amazing job on the build. It looks so good, still would love to hear that think run ;)

Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 15 - OUTDOOR PHOTOS

As soon as it warms up a few degrees, I will definitely shoot a vid of it running.

I had purchased some leather off of ebay. I sewed the pattern myself, and laced it up on the backside to my seat pan, which I made out of 1/8" thermoplastics. There is 1/8" high density foam for the bottom layer, then topped off with some light stuffing kind of foam. It is quite comfortable actually.

Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 20 - MORE PHOTOS

I am very curious to know what your compression is! Did you have to make room for more valve clearance? My head gasket is 1.45 mm is that how much you milled off?

Re: My CB200 Build - AKA "Incognito" - UPDATE MARCH 20 - MORE PHOTOS

No I did not have to make room for valve clearance. Its hard for me to get a compression reading b/c it is so high, I would have to put the compression tester in the bike and push it down a hill in first gear.... Maybe I will do that. But before I had the engine in the bike, my cold compression was 190 post milling. So my hot compression is probably around 200+.

I had 1mm taken off of my head. It was not milled off of my block. So far, no clearance issues or anything. Everything is working SPECTACULAR. Don't take off too much.
