My daily ride - Lets see yours

My daily. Honda Ruckus with a 180cc motor swap.

This is my every day ride, K8 CB750. Others have come and gone, but this was my first and the one that remains (other than my dad's old non-running, neglected CB100 in the corner). She's taken me from Dallas to Austin and back a number of times, and has never let me down once, except last week when I went out on a battery that I knew was on its last leg (my fault, not the bike's). Just rebuilt the forks with Progressive springs last night, new seals and oil. She'll be going under the knife soon for a pretty extensive makeover....836 kit, port/polish, new cam, seat, gauges, etc. etc. etc. Started a build thread the other day called My CB750 Love Affair, feel free to follow along!

must admit it doesn't look quite that striking any more, its been repainted matt black with gloss black 'cobra' stripes running front to back, still fast as feck though

1216cc, gas ported wiseco high-comp pistons, ported/decked head with GSXR-cams and 30/25 valves, delkevic headers with a short end can, BST40SS carbs with Factory Pro jet kit, 165 mains(!), kn dual pods, barnett clutch springs.

My buddy has a 1216 B12 as well and his makes 10 horse more, but he has hotter cams (yosh), full akrapovic system and RS flatslides. Same guy made our headwork, one of the very best in the biz.

Im also going to flatslides this winter. :=)
 
thats pretty sweet man - sounds like it was a good rework! any videos? whats it weigh? My triumph only made 118 at the tire lol

Thanks! Yes she's a beast, power wheelies in 3rd even though I don't know how to wheelie.. lol
I don't have any videos but I'll try to film a dyno run when we try the RS carbs. =)
It's still a heavy bike, steel frame and all... but she handles really well, I have a CBR600RR shock and progressive springs up front. I might try to fit the TLR front end to it eventually but no need to really.

118 is about what my TLR did also bone stock, makes around 125 now with the full Akrapovic, gutted airbox and PCIII.

Nice to see there are still Tillers around. I almost bought one in '99 but opted for a '99 ZX9R. Jetted and full Muzzy race exhaust got me 138.6 at the wheel. Awesome Kaw.

Really good numbers =)

The TLR is getting some work done this winter hopefully. I'm going "naked racer" style with it, undressing it á la Icon Monsters Race. Check it out on youtube -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgllbRF5x0M
Still going to keep it street legal tho so is going to be a compromise but I think its going to be pretty cool. 8)
 
my hp monster KZ has been the daily scoot for grins this week.
