You will need to sort the rectifiers cables with your wiring loom's, then finally fit the connector to the r/r in the correct order, so you can plug and unplug easilyNj732port said:Sweet is this thing plug n play or do I need to put wires where they need to go?

What did it cost to get the rewind?
when I started doing the search to find a replacement I was bummed to find out there were no alternates then I was bummed when I found out how much a rewind would cost... there's always the complete electrical upgrade kits but it was a bit more than I need for a internally stock engine.SONIC. said:That's the plan man.
I swear SR500 stuff is like gold.
smile from ear to ear just to get the wheels back on and roll it around! getting out up those stairs is going to be great ;D ;D ;DB541Niner said:Looks good and I bet your glad she is finally going to see some daylight.
Nj732port said:He put some sealer shit on the side wall/bead and a tubeless valve stem so now front is tubeless hope it holds but I think it will be fine I've done a little searching and there isn't a difference between the tubed and tubeless rims on the sr's apparently...
Caf3racer said:Actually, there is and it was WELL vetted close to a decade ago on the SR500 forum. It was memorable because a few got close to getting banned over it. Short answer from all that, if the wheel doesn't say "TUBELESS TIRE APPLICABLE", then use a tube. BTW.....there's more to it than just the bead. Those of us that were around back when mag wheels started to appear more and more on Japanese bike know this is true. Use a tube.
