Hi guys and gals,
Long time car nut and bike admirer here.... I've been wanting to pull the trigger on a two-wheeled vehicle for a few years now, and finally got around to it last week.
Plans were to pick up something that needed a little work, wrenches don't scare me, and go for a tasteful cafe look. As it turns out, I stumbled across an excellent original condition 1975 Honda CB500T and plan on leaving it alone, keeping it safe and in good running condition, and just enjoying it.
I came across this bike on Ebay and drove two hours to Pittsburgh to pick it up.
First thing it's getting is a pair of new tires, brakes flushed and inspected, oil change, fresh gas, charging system checked, carbs synced and idle adjusted. After that it's time for some fun! Look forward to learning a lot from all of you as this is my first motorcycle, and can't wait to get out on the back roads.
Here are a few of my other toys....
The Anthracite '76 2002 is actually my wife's. She drives it every day in the summer.
