Hi, trying to sort out this wiring on my little 1974 tx500 project.
The wiring looks simple, but i can't quite figure out exactly how to wire things even after checking some wiring diagrams i found on the web,
I have eliminated the starter and starter relay as i am looking to go kickstart only.
wire #1 - not sure what this is. I assume the rear lights.
wire #2 - positive wire to battery and to starter relay( i removed wire that was going to relay)
wire #3 - was going to starter relay.
wire #4 - was going to starter relay
wire #5 - ground i assume.
I found it will only start if i connect #2 and #3 to the battery. However, when i do this, key position no longer matters, power on the dash goes active until i disconnect.
#4, i have no idea what it is but i assume this is needed?
Any help would be great, thanks!
