Open shop

That's why I haven't moved to Sag Harbor to help out my grandmother. That town is ridiculously expensive.

I'm about 3 hours away down here in Rome, GA. I might have to pay you a visit sometime.

Haven't been to the island since 1990. Right after one of the old family farms was turned into a polo club (Bridgehampton, I think, whichever town had the BIG King Cullen grocery). Is Tide's Beach still a toxic mess? Last time I was there it stank of rotting iron and all the shell fish were rust colored.

Damn so its been a while. Yea its bridgehampton you are thinking of. Idk about Tides beach...I live about 20 mins east of bridgehampton...the beaches arent as bad as you described! As a matter of fact my dad harvests shellfish on a regular basis for personal consumption...and he's still alive lol. If you are ever up this way hit me up.

Tide's is the one by the old A.M.E. Church in Sag Harbor. It was always a mess. We'd always park at John Steinbeck's old house and go clamming since the water was cleaner up that way.

I'd love to see what all has changed since I was last there. Wonder of the art duck decoy maker still has a shop just up from Oakland Cemetery...
