Valvesprung- yea....he did say in his response back that he had gotton a lot of responses which is cool. I had always thought about posting something like that. I hope he decides to join Indies group!
There was another dude that posted something about a month back and I emailed him about riding etc. I told him we were doin Ava's over the weekend but I guess he was headin to the coast.
Indie- A vintage bike meet up locally would be hella cool. Man Im sure we could even do Sonic's in Tigard on a night or something. Dude Im sooo stoked for the summer! ;D
I'm excited for warmer weather as well. It's going to be a good year, me thinks.
I more or less have my bike sorted. The choke cable is no longer man enough to push the choke out all the way at the carbs. I can start it easily enough by operating the choke at the carb until I get a new cable. I did find an electrical problem while I was working on it, but I'm confident I can get that taken care of as well.
I'm honestly going back and forth about whether I want to dive right in to my exhaust/rejet project or wait until after the weekend.
U know it will start raining again eventually. Especially this time of year. Dry days are scarce. Plus I still wanna come up and hang out. My sis is in the Couve and my moms in town so this will give me a reason to go up there x2.
Weather is looking iffy for Saturday....probably okay for Sunday. I wonder if I could get my electrical taken care of tonight, and get my exhaust and carbs taken care of by Saturday night......I could be riding in style on Sunday.
Dude you're always welcome up here, and I always have something to work on. I still have to rebuild the carbs on my 360 too. Just let me know when you want to come out and I'll have the fridge stocked.
I know man I know. I've been held up on mine for far too long but I'm still not where I want to be with a welder. If I'm not there by next month, I'm having it done. Doesn't help that my crapper welder died. Should move fairly quickly once that's done.
Indie- yea. Sat does look iffy but I work saturdays so that no bueno. Sunday would be rad. I guess we can play it by ear. If it works out great....if not. Summer is coming!!!
