Not FI. Carbs. No TPS, so I modded a GSXR600 throttle servo TPS to fit on the oil pump. That is tied to an Aux Box along with MAP, RPM and CHT inputs. It's connected to a Ultra wide band O2 sensor and small 32 channel datalogger.
I want to be able to see what the F:A ratio is doing at different combinations of throttle and revs. Because they are CV carbs, I'm hoping to see the correlation between MAP, alpha, and n. May just turn out to be a complete waste of time but it's fun so far. If only it would warm up so I can ride the thing.
If that's successful, I'll use it with the Jemcos and 32mm round slides and I have a set of BST36s from a GSXR which should flow way more air that stock BS40s and they look almost stock so that might be a nice 2014 season upgrade.
I started off with sets of GSXR600 and R1 throttle bodies and stopped that when I worked out that I need secondary injectors to get enough pulse width without exceeding 100% duty cycles. Larger single injectors work out in theory at least to extremely short duty cycles. That's when I decided that if Bimota can't do it on a 500 twin, how TF and I going to do it on a 750 triple.
If I live long enough anything is possible. I may have to build something for SE Prostreet one of these days.
